All of the reviews and comments I have read give the dbx a thumbs up and describes thekyosho dbx as a excellent 1/10 RC Buggy. I would leave it in the box until I had the proper tools! Hopefully, you will have your tools before drive day to help you avoid any unseen problems that may occur, such as tuning or leaks.
What ever you do, make sure that the Engine run-in is followed as per manufacturers instructions, this will give it a good start in life.
